Amongst Nike's cult silhouettes, one shoe whichlooms large is the Air Footscape. Debuted in 1995, the asymmetrical lacing and contoured footbed were developed fora new approach to foot shape and comfort. The shoe's tech might have been impressive but it's the looks which cemented it as an icon — most famously in Japan.
In 2006 the Footscape Woven was born, looking likea lovechild ofthe Air Woven and Footscape. The hand-woven upperwas simultaneously futuristic and antique. Almost thirty years later the Footscape Woven still looks as good as it did, and Nike is taking advantage of that with a fresh reboot.
